Hi lovely — I’m Macey, the herbalist, soap-maker, tea blender, farmer, creative gremlin, and chaos-with-a-purpose woman behind Olson’s Herbal Creations. If we were sitting together right now, I’d hand you a cup of tea, shove a freshly poured soap loaf in your face like “LOOK AT HER,” and then immediately go off on a tangent about how Big Pharma wants you to believe a dandelion root can’t possibly do anything.

I started down this herbal path the same way a lot of women do: after being failed spectacularly by the modern medical system. My journey with endometriosis pushed me into the arms of plants — not because I’m anti-science (I love science), but because I’m pro-what actually works. And sometimes what actually works is a warm cup of raspberry leaf + nettle, a well-made salve, or a bath soak infused with herbs you can pronounce. I fell in love with herbalism because plants don’t gaslight you. They don’t tell you “Your pain is normal.” They quietly show up, support your body, and ask nothing but a little respect in return.

So I made it my mission to create products that feel like:

a hug

a sigh of relief

a tiny rebellion against the corporations that think “self-care” is a $40 lotion full of microplastics.

And trust me… I research EVERYTHING. Every herb, every oil, every step of the process. I don’t just throw lavender into a jar and call it a day. I’m talking formulation, safety, energetics, benefits — the whole nerdy herbalist package, wrapped in a little sass. Everything you see here — the soaps, the teas, the bath salts, the lip balms — is handcrafted in small batches, by either ingredients I grew and harvested with my own hands (WITHOUT the use of harsh pesticides, fertilizers, or other harmful chemicals that destroy the soil, AND our bodies), or carefully selected from trustworthy suppliers. I won’t sell you anything that I haven’t taste tested or used on my own skin. Believe me, the body is a temple and we should treat it as such.
